Can dogs eat cashews?
AKC says cashews aren't toxic, but they should only be an occasional treat, a few at a time. Nuts are high in fat and can cause vomiting, diarrhea and pancreatitis (ASPCA).
How to serve it: plain, unsalted, unseasoned, not from mixed nuts
Good to know: Mixed nuts can contain macadamia nuts, which are toxic to dogs. Nuts can also be a choking hazard for small dogs (AKC).
