Can dogs eat almonds?

AKC says almonds are not suitable for dogs: hard to digest, high in fat (pancreatitis risk) and able to block the esophagus or intestines, especially in small dogs.

Good to know: One or two almonds: AKC says don't panic, but watch for vomiting, diarrhea and signs of an obstruction.
