Can dogs eat kiwi?
ASPCA lists kiwi as okay for pets. AKC says never give a whole kiwi, because it can get stuck in the throat. The skin is hard to digest, so peel it first.
How to serve it: peeled, in small pieces
Good to know: Too much kiwi can cause diarrhea because of the fiber. Start with a few small pieces (AKC). ASPCA even suggests snacks of no more than 5% of daily calories; the calculator uses the usual 10% (Merck).
