Can dogs eat tofu?
AKC says tofu isn’t toxic to dogs and is fine as an occasional snack in small amounts. But it doesn’t provide enough protein, can’t replace dog food and can cause a lot of gas (AKC).
How to serve it: plain, unseasoned, fully cooked and cooled, in small cubes; not marinated, no onion or garlic
Good to know: If your dog has had bloat before, belongs to a breed at higher risk of bloat or doesn’t tolerate soy, ask your vet first (AKC).
