Can cats eat potato chips?
Potato chips are too salty and fatty for cats: VCA says they can cause stomach upset, and too much salt can poison cats (Pet Poison Helpline). RSPCA considers small amounts OK for pets, but more can cause vomiting, diarrhea and seizures.
Good to know: Flavored chips may contain onion or garlic powder, which can poison cats too (Merck).
