Can dogs eat potato chips?
Potato chips are salty and greasy, and too much salt can cause salt poisoning in dogs (AKC, Pet Poison Helpline). AKC considers small amounts OK, but fatty foods can trigger pancreatitis (Pet Poison Helpline).
Good to know: Flavored chips may contain onion or garlic powder, which can poison dogs too (Merck).
