Can guinea pigs eat bok choy?
PDSA and the Royal Veterinary College list bok choy (pak choi) as a suitable vegetable for guinea pigs. It belongs to the cabbage family, and cabbage should be introduced slowly (TVT).
How to serve it: washed, a little at first, then increase slowly
Good to know: The University of Edinburgh counts bok choy among daily greens; as with any cabbage, we err on the side of caution. NC State rates it moderate in calcium and low in oxalate.
