Can dogs eat fish sticks?

Fish sticks are breaded, pre-fried and salted – plain cooked fish is the better choice. AKC says fish cooked in too much oil can upset a dog’s stomach and even lead to pancreatitis.

Good to know: AKC also advises against breaded or fried shrimp because of the added fat. If you want to share fish, serve it plain and fully cooked, without bones, oil or seasoning (AKC).
