Can dogs eat raw wild boar?
In dogs, Aujeszky’s disease (pseudorabies) is always fatal, with no vaccine or treatment. Wild boar in Germany carry the virus; raw wild boar meat and offal, especially the lungs, are a main source (FLI).
Important: Never feed raw – FLI explicitly advises against unheated wild boar.
