Can guinea pigs eat napa cabbage?
Napa cabbage is a cabbage, and guinea pigs can eat cabbage if you start with small amounts (Swiss animal welfare society). Large amounts can cause gas (PDSA).
How to serve it: washed, a small leaf at first, then increase slowly
Good to know: None of our sources names napa cabbage specifically: the Royal Veterinary College allows cabbage of “all varieties”, and PDSA lists dark green cabbages.
Questions
Can guinea pigs eat napa cabbage every day?
No, only now and then and in small amounts.
Can rabbits eat napa cabbage?
Yes, but only a little. Napa cabbage is a type of cabbage, which the RSPCA says to feed only occasionally. The House Rabbit Society lists cabbage of any type, and RWAF says brassicas can cause gas in some rabbits.
