Can hamsters eat cucumbers?
Yes, hamsters can eat cucumbers in small amounts. PDSA, Woodgreen, the German Animal Welfare Federation and the Swiss animal welfare society (STS) list cucumber as a suitable vegetable. Germany’s Veterinary Association for Animal Welfare (TVT) names it as an example of the small amounts of vegetables that round out the seed mix.
How to serve it: washed, a small piece
Good to know: The German federation says watery vegetables should always be fresh and given only in smaller amounts.
