Can budgies eat carrots?
Yes, budgies can eat carrots in small amounts. Germany’s Veterinary Association for Animal Welfare (TVT) lists carrots as a vegetable for budgies. The German Animal Welfare Federation and the Swiss animal welfare society (STS) do too. The RSPCA lists them for parrots and RSPCA Australia for pet birds. UC Davis names both carrots and carrot tops.
How to serve it: washed, raw, in pieces or grated
