Can budgies eat dandelions?
Yes, budgies can eat dandelions in small amounts. Germany’s Veterinary Association for Animal Welfare (TVT) lists dandelion as fresh greens for budgies. So do the German Animal Welfare Federation and the Swiss animal welfare society (STS), and RSPCA Australia, UC Davis and Purdue include it too.
How to serve it: washed, from unfertilized meadows, not from roadsides
Good to know: The sources mainly mean the leaves; none says anything specific about the flowers.
