Can cockatiels eat carrots?
Yes, cockatiels can eat carrots in small amounts. Germany’s Veterinary Association for Animal Welfare (TVT) lists carrots as a vegetable for cockatiels. So does the Swiss animal welfare society (STS), and the TVT says vegetables belong in the daily diet. The RSPCA, RSPCA Australia and Purdue name carrots for parrots too.
How to serve it: washed, finely chopped, shredded or in sticks
