Can horses eat peaches?
Yes, but only a little: horses can eat peaches. Penn State Extension says peaches are a safe treat, but only with the pit removed and sliced into small pieces. Rutgers lists peach pits among things to avoid at all costs, and ASPCA says the stems, leaves and seeds contain cyanide.
How to serve it: pit removed, in slices
Good to know: If your horse ate a peach pit, call your vet right away and don’t wait and see (RSPCA).
