How much to feed a Cockapoo
A Cockapoo is a cross between a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle. Size and weight vary a lot; the Cockapoo Club of GB expects about 22–29 lb for an adult, and in UK vet practices Cockapoos had a median weight of about 26 lb. Here’s how much food that is per day – for the most accurate amount, use your own dog’s weight.

There’s no standard: the Cockapoo Club of GB says the many variations make one impossible. The club gives about 10 to 13 kg (22 to 29 pounds) as a guide on its feeding page; the medians come from UK vet practices (VetCompass, 2019 data).
According to VCA, Cockapoos tend to become overweight.

How much does your dog weigh?
Decimals help, e.g. 22.5. No pet scale? Weigh yourself, then again holding your pet.
A starting point – the scale has the final say. If your dog is ill, talk to your vet.
Cockapoo puppies
As an example we use an adult weight of 26 lb – how big your puppy gets depends on its parents. At 4 months, a puppy then weighs about 14.8 lb on the growth curve in the FEDIAF guidelines and needs about 2 cups of dry food with 380 kcal/cup a day. For your puppy, calculate with its own age and weight.

How much does a Cockapoo weigh?
It depends on the parents. The Cockapoo Club of GB expects about 22 to 29 pounds as an adult; in UK vet practices, Cockapoos had a median weight of about 26 lb (females 24 lb, males 28 lb; VetCompass, 2019 data).
My dog weighs more than this. Is that too much?
Not necessarily. Crossbreeds vary a lot in weight, depending on their parents. Your dog’s shape tells you more than the number: you should feel the ribs and see a waist from above. If in doubt, ask your vet.
