Yes, budgies can eat kale in small amounts. Kale tops UC Davis’s vegetable list for pet birds, alongside other leafy greens such as collards.

Good to know: Our German and Swiss budgie sources don’t mention kale, and we found no bird source on green, savoy, red or napa cabbage.
