Can cockatiels eat bread?
Yes, but only unsalted and a little: cockatiels can eat bread. Purdue counts bread in the grain group, along with seeds, pasta and baked goods. It says the whole group should make up no more than half the diet.
How to serve it: unsalted and unseasoned, a small piece
Good to know: We found no cockatiel source that specifically recommends bread. The AAV says birds shouldn’t be fed highly salted foods.
