Can cockatiels eat pasta?
Yes, but only cooked and a little: cockatiels can eat pasta. Purdue counts pasta in the grain group, which should be no more than half the diet. When switching to pellets, the AAV suggests coating fruit, vegetables or pasta the bird already likes with crushed pellets.
How to serve it: cooked and cooled, no salt or sauce, a small piece
Good to know: We found no bird source on uncooked pasta – if in doubt, cooked only.
