Can chinchillas eat dandelions?
Better not: chinchillas shouldn’t eat dandelions. PDSA lists dried dandelions among the treats its vets suggest. The Swiss animal welfare society (STS) and Woodgreen also name dried dandelion, Woodgreen including the root. Merck, on the other hand, advises against dandelion greens because they’re high in calcium, so we err on the side of caution.
