Can hamsters eat bread?
Better not: hamsters shouldn’t eat bread. The German Animal Welfare Federation rules out bread and baked goods for hamsters and lists stale bread as unsuitable. The Swiss animal welfare society (STS) allows hard bread as an occasional treat, and the University of Minnesota mentions a little toast, so we err on the side of caution.
