Can rats eat dandelions?
Yes, but only a little: rats can eat dandelions. On its website, the Zurich animal welfare society (Zürcher Tierschutz) lists meadow herbs and flowering plants as an occasional food. These include dandelion, plantain, chickweed, clover flowers and daisies. Its guide, however, calls daisies, dandelion, chickweed, plantain and wild chicory well suited, so we err on the side of caution.
How to serve it: fresh and washed, as a small extra
