Can budgies eat cheese?
Better not: budgies shouldn’t eat cheese. The Merck Veterinary Manual lists milk products among foods not to feed birds. Purdue, on the other hand, says cheese is good for parrots in acceptable amounts, so we err on the side of caution.
Good to know: Cheese is often salty, and the AAV says birds shouldn’t get highly salted foods.
