Can chinchillas eat bell peppers?

Better not: chinchillas shouldn’t eat bell peppers. Merck lists bell peppers among vegetables chinchillas can have in small amounts every day. Germany’s Veterinary Association for Animal Welfare (TVT), however, says they don’t tolerate fresh vegetables, and Woodgreen also advises against vegetables, so we err on the side of caution.
