Can cockatiels eat chickweed?
Yes, cockatiels can eat chickweed in small amounts. Germany’s Veterinary Association for Animal Welfare (TVT) counts chickweed among the herbs that are part of a cockatiel’s staple diet. The Swiss animal welfare society (STS) also lists it as fresh greens for cockatiels.
How to serve it: fresh, not from roadsides or freshly fertilized meadows
