Can cockatiels eat mint?

Yes, cockatiels can eat mint in small amounts. The AAV names mint, along with chamomile and lemon balm, as a bird-safe herb, for example in an herbal tea for parrots. It says to brew the tea weak and let it cool completely.

How to serve it: a few fresh leaves, or as a weak, cooled tea
