Can degus eat dandelions?

Yes, but only a little: degus can eat dandelions. PDSA says dandelion leaves only once or twice a week in very small amounts, the Zürcher Tierschutz says daily. The Zurich animal welfare society (Zürcher Tierschutz) lists fresh dandelion among wild herbs, along with plantain, daisies and clover. PDSA says dandelion leaves can cause bloating, so we err on the side of caution.
