Can rats eat corn?

Yes, but only a little: rats can eat corn. The Swiss animal welfare society (STS) lists corn as a suitable vegetable. The Zurich animal welfare society (Zürcher Tierschutz), on the other hand, puts corn in its “rarely” column and lists sweet corn among foods for small amounts, so we err on the side of caution.
