Can rats eat cucumbers?
Yes, rats can eat cucumbers in small amounts. Cucumber appears on the PDSA’s chart of safe fruit and veg for rats. The Swiss animal welfare society (STS) lists cucumbers as a suitable vegetable. The Zurich animal welfare society (Zürcher Tierschutz) includes cucumber in its daily vegetables and calls it well suited.
