Can hamsters eat chocolate?
Better not: hamsters shouldn’t eat chocolate. The University of Minnesota says hamsters should never be fed chocolate, and the German Animal Welfare Federation rules out sweets.
Good to know: We found no hamster-specific source describing how toxic chocolate is for hamsters. If your hamster ate chocolate and seems unwell, the RSPCA says to see your vet immediately.
