Can hamsters eat raspberries?
Yes, but only a little: hamsters can eat raspberries. The German Animal Welfare Federation lists raspberries as suitable fruit, but only a little. Switzerland’s federal veterinary office (BLV) names berries among foods that can round out the diet.
How to serve it: washed, just a few
Good to know: For dwarf hamsters, Germany’s Veterinary Association for Animal Welfare (TVT) advises against fruit entirely, and Blue Cross mentions fruit as an occasional treat for Syrian hamsters only.
