Can budgies eat oranges?
Better not: budgies shouldn’t eat oranges. The German Animal Welfare Federation lists citrus fruits as unsuitable because they are too acidic. UC Davis, on the other hand, includes oranges and tangerines on its fruit list for birds, and Purdue mentions oranges as an enrichment food, so we err on the side of caution.
